Ma Changxi

Ma Changxi is currently a Professor, Supervisor of doctorate in Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Distinguished Professor of “Fei-Tian Scholar” in Gansu Province, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Digital Transportation and Safety. Meanwhile, he was the Chair of Transport Operation Safety Technical Committee in World Transport Conference (2017-2019), the Co-Chair of Safety Policy and Transport Management Technical Committee in World Transport Conference (2019-2022), the Committee Member of Autonomous Vehicles in China Highway Council, Director of Experts Committee in Gansu Province Transport Association, Experts of Smart City Construction and Management in Gansu Province, and Committee Member of Academic Board in Gansu Province Key Laboratory of Smart Transportation; He is Editorial Board of China Journal of Highway and Transport, Journal of Transportation Systems Engineering and Information Technology and Journal of Lanzhou Jiaotong University, and he is author and co-author of four books. He has published over 150 papers indexed by SCI/SSCI/EI, including Transportation Research Part B/E/F, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Analytic Methods in Accident Research and China Journal of Highway and Transport, in which 9 articles have been ranked as highly-cited 1% by ESI. He has presided 3 National Natural Foundation of China, and has been selected twice as global top 2% scientists’ list consecutively (in Logistics & Transportation). He has been awarded “Longyuan Youth Innovational and Enterprising Talents”, “Young Teachers Talents of Gansu Province Universities”, Distinguished Committee Member of World Transport Conference, Nominee of Golden Prize by Qian Xuesen Urbanology, “Youth Scientific Innovation Prize” by China Communication and Transportation Association, and Excellent Reviewer by China Society and Technology Association.
